Moomers Field Trips Q&A
Q: What is a Moomers Field Trip?
A: Moomers field trips are great for school groups, boy/girls scouts, church groups or any other groups that would like to learn about our 80 acre dairy farm and ice cream store.
Q: How Long is the Field Trip?
A: Our trips generally last about 1.5 hours. The trip consists of 45 minutes on the dairy farm, including a 10 minute wagon ride through our fields to the farm where you will learn what our cows are fed, how to milk a cow, what goes on in the milk barn and milk house and where the milk goes from there! Petting and feeding the calves is the last activity. Of course, you can pet, help feed or just look at the cute little "Moomers".
Q: The Farm is Fine and All, but What About the Ice Cream?!?!?
A: After the farm, it's back to the ice cream store for a short story about ice cream making and an official Moomers tour. This is where we go into to our kitchen and learn how delicious ice cream is made. After a stroll though our cooler and freezer for a quick cold look at all of Moomers ice cream its finally time for the much anticipated scoop of Moomers Homeade Ice Cream in a cone/cup. Everyone will be able to order the flavor of their choice and enjoy it over looking the cows next door. Also included in the tour is a, "From Cows To Cones" Book and a Moomers pencil.
Q: How Many Of Us Can You Take?
A: 12 person minimum, if you do not have 12 people you can still schedule and pay the 12 person minimum.
